What in the HELL is up with these things? I see them on every chromed-out piece of crap I drive past! The must vent engine heat very well.

i saw a sweet cavalier with those. it also had a triple decker aluminum wing, 3 different kinds of rims, and he had vinyl flames coming OUT OF THE VENTS like the car was spitting fire. flippin awesome

dude seriously. i see these things on every 300, charger, buick, oldsmobile, everything! i dont even know where the hell these people are getting them. ive never seen a set for sale but they are on every car with 20"+ wheels these days. they are uber retarded.

I believe Buick started that trend by actually making functional vents on one of their cars. It they became a DUB thing for pimped cars with larger wheels, think 300c, chargers, and magnums. Now every automotive store walk through wannabe has some on their car.

It's a retro thing. Back in the 1950's Buick, Oldsmoblie and Chrysler cars used to have "holes" on the front fenders.
