I already have bought my next vehicle, a Golf TDI (four-cylinder diesel). But this is a strange poll because it who chooses their next car based on cylinder count? I was looking at everything from I-4s to V-8s.

I based My last 4 car purchases on cylinder count. For work I drive a Lincoln Town Car(4.6L V8) and it's no fun filling that tank up. It hurts a lot less to fill My little gas sipping 2.3L I4. I'm also sure I'm not alone in this thought process. In fact, in My line of work most folks drive a 4 cylinder car as a DD.

Next car for me will probably be a 350z...most likely not boosted, so that's one for gas V6.
