I've launched as low as 2100 RPM's and will still get axle hop.

U need to get the RPM's up and don't dump the clutch out of the hole. I launch my car at 4k rpms slipping the clutch. In the processes just giving it enough clutch/gas to keep the tires right on their breaking point. I run the same with TC on or off because the tires slip just enough for the traction control light to come on but not so much that it actually does something about it.

^^^thats what I do....its a bit hard on the clutch but I only race every long while...I feather the clutch off the line just to keep the tires from spining...once I have momentum im WOT and off the clutch.

Heres a video of me driving my friends car (he had shorts on cant race) stock zetec first time driving the car.

Ok, looks pretty cool but it's an auto... Launching an auto is completely different from launching a car with a standard transmission with a touchy clutch.

I would take bets on beating my own 60ft in a MTX that had the same mods as mine. Everyone I know is dropping at around 4000-4500 in a MTX. Some people use the hand brake to help at the burn out and launch phase.

That post was a little confusing... I'm sure you are pulling in great 60 ft times but with a good driver, an MTX could pull the same I'm sure.

As far as using the e-brake to help launch, how would that help? I've heard of the whole e-brake stand B.S but never at launching.
