Fully built vortech svt vs. modified mazdaspeed3!

Will i beat my buddys mazdaspeed3 after all of my mods are in? Here is a video of his dyno video. his car is not tuned yet. once its tuned do you think i will have a chance?
http://youtube.com/watch?v=4Y4XCVMXaBQ

here is the list to all my new mods that are going in.
So I am about to get a fully built engine, and ported and polished head!
1. 2.55 pulley
2. 3" exhaust
3. ORP
4. 3" powerpipe for my supercharger
5. Cobra heat exchanger
6. Synchronic BOV
7. Kenne bell boost-a-pump
8. Wideband ( I know.. I know.. I should of had one in the first place)
9. And finally install my 70mm MAF
10. A water/methanol injection kit! Here is the website for the kit!
http://www.alcoholinjectionsystems.c...duct_info.html

11. Now this is for later... A stage 4 clutch with aluminum flywheel. But thats until mine goes out!

Well seeing that you are currently at 279 hp without tuning, I would say that you do have a shot. Gonna be pretty much a drivers race.

sorry im not familiar with mazdas, but is his a standard tranny or an auto? Also it will depend on what kind of suspension he has and what you have, in other words if your car cant handle the power it has and get it to the ground, then your going to lose, but other factors come into play with this such as a LSD and the weight over the drive wheels.

all in all you both have fast cars and like superfocusman said it will probably come down to a drivers race, and the way your racing them(autoX, drag, ect, ect, ect).

IF you can drive, you have a great shot. you do have weight on your side, and power is close. driving will play a big roll.

some tips as always with dragging, drop weight. take out your spare, run on very low fuel, empty washer fluid, and i dunno what else. also, for traction lower front tire pressure, slightly

have you taken your car to a drag strip? that will help give you a better idea of how to launch and stuff with best times.

^^ thats a good match up then, If it were me and I was dead set on beating my friend it would go to the drag strip and practice launching and get the best shift points in my head before I tried to race him.

what does th mazda have done to it???

i think it will be a drivers race, the mazdas are quick, but if your putting down 279 without a tune, than thats going to be a close race,

when you race him get someone to get a video so we can see...

Don't the 3's have awd? Or is it just the 6's? If he has awd and he gets a tune I can see him beating you.
