Like I said I am the only one I know that does it. People always see my work and are like "wow, thats nice" then they hear it and they're like, "why does it sound better than the other ones I've heard?" I've never told anyone until this thread.

Now to fix the lines, or the shape so to speak. We are going to add kitty fur and cloth to "build" up a few spot and shape what will be pretty close to the final shape.

TAKE EXTRA TIME HERE

Start by cutting a piece of cloth long enough and wide enough to kinda put a "hoodie" on your piece from the top of the ring in the picture out to the sides and long enough to taper off the back a little.

Now break out little Mr. CA glue again and get busy. You want to stretch the cloth around the center of the piece, or the hump in the pic.

Fold half of it back using your hand to hold the other side, and put a few drops of CA glue along the ridge under the middle of the piece. Careful not to drip any glue anywhere but the VERY middle.

Now carefully, very carefully press down gently on both sides of the middle to secure the cloth piece.

work your way along the ridge or "hump"

In another thread I will do a how to on making a lightweight hood for drag racers. Notice what happened when I touched the cloth above the glue? In the middle. The spot. That would cost you the whole project in the hood making thread. The idea is to have the cloth large and perfectly weaved with no flaws. It will look alot like carbon fiber when your done.

MMMmmmmnnn....fiber cloth, gotta love it
