If anyone looks at Mercedes as being a "plush mobile" without any grunt, think again...
These are 2 1986-1987 "Vintage" 190E 16V cars that had a limited production run in the US. They are not AMG cars, but are configured to run in the SCCA ITC class. All components are stock with the exception of being fitted with 500E brakes. They are extremely formidable opponents on the race track and on the street. The "chase car" is a 2007 Mazdaspeed 3 with 230+HP on tap. The Benzes use a 200HP powerplant and weigh approximately 3400 LBS. Enjoy!

Grand tourers they are. I like them, but I want something a little more visceral in my driving experience. I have TONS of respect for them, just not my style. A friend of mine said it best. "The Benz is a great car. The problem is that is is like driving a really fast couch."
