thanks guys, and croto, yeah it sounds great like that. also when i have the seats lowered for snowboards it's pretty damn loud and you can feel the rush of air when it hits a real low note

this system was stock, and so far i havent had a reason to replace it. however, im thinking about some kinda material in the trunk to keep down the bad shake the trunk lid gets when the sub is up high

Unsure of decibles I'm hitting but it hits hard and VERY LOW...

Just bought all new Stinger wiring hardware & Power/Ground wires. Next on the list is a 1.5 Farrad Capacitor and a larger Monoblock amp and yellowtop Optima. Want to put atleast 700-1,000 watts RMS to each sub.

have any of yall tried facing the subs towards the front of the car? i know 99% of the time they sound way better facing the rear but in my car it sounds horrible compared to facing the front. also my friends zx3 has 2 planet audio big bang 10" subs and an interfire 900 in an ezdb ported box just like mine facing the front and its unbearable in his car. i like to lay the seats down and roll the windows down and just let the bass flow. sounds so much better facing forward. some of you should try it.

It usually generates lower bass facing the back... hence why it is done that way... But most of the SPL systems going for maximum sound pressure level's will face them towards the front of the vehicle to direct the pressure towards the mic.

I did a Tiburon one time with 2 kicker L7's in a 10 Cubic foot Vented enclosure. 5 cubes per sub each in their own vented chamber of the box.
Ran a 2 Kicker 1200.1's Bridged to each sub... Ran 2 capacitors and had the box facing the front of the car... Back seat deleted...

I swear your brain would still jiggle in your skull 15 minutes after you were out of the car... LOL
