I bought an 09 ses sedan because it was the only ses with a 5spd on the lot. As for the extra pair of doors it is more practical. The coupes always look more sportier because of how your eye catches the lines of the doors. It elongates the car, its just a fact. I like my sedan but some times I wish I would have waited a little bit longer and got the ses coupe. But only sometimes!

I like the sedan, our family fits better in it, still a tight fit but think it would be far worse for us if it were a coupe. Plus Brad won ROTY with our Vista blue sedan I sort of had to go with it. We will probably end up getting our daughter a used Focus as her first car so it might end up being a coupe....I also agree that to me they do appear to be sportier.
