Dash Rattle

A few days ago my car has developed the most annoying rattle I've ever heard. I have yet to pin point the location but it seems to be up front, somewhere in the location behind the radio, or the passenger footwell, or up by the airbag. It only seems to do it when I'm above 60 km/h (36 mph) and gets more frequent as I go faster. It sounds a cross between a squeaking bird and trickling water. I've checked the floor incase it was water but everything is dry. Anyone else have this rattle?

I've heard it....but mine sounds more like Keys vibrating REALLY fast.....but it's not my keys....... lol. So I don't think that helps other than knowing that it's happening to someone else.....

Not the glove box. I've pushed on it and it's still there. There's nothing in the glove box that would be rattling either.

Having this exact same problem, it's always above 45mph.. I pulled the glovebox out today to feel around if anything was loose, but it's not.. this is a horribly annoying rattle..

Just going to throw it out since it is a squeak... my heater fan squeaks (mildly) during a left hand turn. I suppose if it was worse it could be described as a squeal. I can't imagine the fan squeak/squeal being effected by speed tho...

Mine also suffers from rattles & squeaks - there's one that comes from the driver's side door pillar (clicking noise), a squeak that comes from the rear luggage area somewhere, & a strange sounding rattle/squeaking noise that comes from the dash above the instrument panel. On that last one, it only occurs when the dash gets hot... to remedy this, I loosened the 3 bolts that hold the black plastic trim to the curved plastic part, & sprayed some WD-40 in there - seems to be working (for now at least).
My fan also squeaks on speed setting 1 or 2, but only for a few seconds when first activated, & only in cold weather!

The Focus rattles a lot, esp. when old and/or modded. It just comes with the territory and I've learned to deal.
