The evolution of video game pricing
My friend Dave told me to make this thread becuase he thought it was interesting. I agree with Dave. He know a lot.
Dave also says that the "today" prices are adjusted for inflation. the even more interesting thought is if you go for the price of software
I remember some games mainly the Genesis games being close 100 bucks. and super nintendo games averaed 55-60 dollars. I know I paid 75 bucks for Secret of Mana when it came out.

Im guessing that would be the price you would pay if it was new bought today?? not what its worth.. lol you should have another thread of what they actually sell for today as opposed to their original price! that would be interesting..

Some of the "collector" titles for SNES I've seen sell for around $35. A few like Earthbound are even higher than that.
