Honhon's 07 Liquid Grey almost modded out of warranty ZX3

Heres my ZX3, i know some people have wanted to see it, so without more delay, heres the beast from the southern east.



















heres a sound clip, i have an F2 v3.0 header, MBRP 2.25inch SS exhaust, and stage 2 crane cams.

NOW, onto the information about the vehicle i own and love driving everyday.

Performance Mods:

Cosworth CAI (FTMFW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!X10)
F2 V3.0 4 - 1 header with Flex
MBRP SS 2.25inch Flex Back exhaust
Sportline Springs with Ford Racing Shocks/struts
Progress 22mm rear bar with eurethane endlinks
Custom modified SVTF rear Lower control arms
04 SVTF Eap wheels w/ Kuhmo ecsta tires 215/45/17
Focussport Front Strut Bar
BRP Braun Racing Products Rear strut bar (i just installed it today, so its not in any pictures)
Crane Stage 2 Cams
Crane Valve springs/retainers
SCT Excal 2 w/focussport 93octane tune
CFM 67MM Throttle body
VF enginering Driver side, Passenger side, and Rear engine mounts
B&M STS
Blox 440gram weighted shift knob
PowerSlot Front rotors
Hawk HPS Pads
Russel SS Brake Lines
lawn mower fuel filter in-line of the valve cover breather
Forged alluminum open end lug nuts for extended studs(not pictured)



Fluids:

Engine:

Royal Purple 5w30 full synthetic w/ FL910 filter

Tranny:

Motorcraft Full synthetic MTX fluid.

Non Performance Modifications:

Gauge cluster 'delete' with Autometer Ultra lite gauges w/ Green LED's
Shorty nub antenna
Sport Appearance Package(ford OEM)
Rear seat removed as well as some rear panels
Wire tucked hatch, and soon to start wire tucking the rest of the car.
Glove box LED on its own microswitch that turns on when the box is opened
Rear wiper delete(not pictured)

i think that may be it, but i usually forget stuff, ill edit it if i remember anything else

if anyone is interested in the BRP Braun Racing Rear Strut bar please PM: Roushturboedzx3



the strut bar is great, you do NOT need to drill the wheel wells to install it.

Future Mods/Plans:

In the works of a turbo build with a custom BRP Braun Racing top-mount turbo manifold, stage 1 will be 225whp, then when the car is no longer a DD, it'll be bumped up to 300whp with built internals

Torsen
Powder coated EAPs
Full wire tuck
P/S and A/C deletes
heater and under-dash air box delete
Ported and Polished 2.3L head with an OEM 2.3L intake manifold w/ tumble flap delete

If the turbo setup goes as planned either stock cams will go back in, or i will research on how much blow by i will have with the stage 2 cams.

Supertech pistons
Cosworth rods
Supertech high liftvalve springs/retainers
Supertech Superflo valves

2.5inch SS custom or MBRP Exhaust
dyno tuned(will coiside with the turbo setup)

Mods on the way:

ARP extended Studs
Exedy stage 1 clutch w/10lb flywheel (stage 3 will eventually go on when the power goes up)

and I need to mention, the pictures taken are with the FRPP 1.5inch springs, i dont have pictures of it yet with the 2.0inch sportlines.

and yes, she scoots on her own pretty well.. im pretty happy with it. i just wish we had some twisty roads around here to test out the new rear strut bar and sportlines.

but that time will really come, in mid may i am goin to autoX her... im thinking i might try and install my clutch before then...

for competition. i dont want any issue EVER of having to deal with a stud breaking under hard cornering, this car will eventually just be a weekend and track queen and for the bling factor, the studs are gold and will match my shift knob perfectly.

i may eventually put 5mm spacers in. ill have to see. but that is certainly on the plate.

and i went 2.25 because it was the 2nd mod on the car. the 2.25inch exhaust will hold the engine over until i really start letting it breathe via turbo.

also, i didnt see the need for a 2.25 until i start going over 200whp. Focussport stated that there is only a 10hp difference between 2.25 and 2.5 exhaust, but thats boosted over 220whp.

so as it stands right now roughly guessing im only restricing at maybe max, 3hp.
