need some help

i just put some indiglos in and i removed the needles and i got themback in but i can not get the gas needle to work right. it tells me how much gas i have but when i cut the key off it falls way down past E. so any help would be great .

mine does that and i have never touched the gauge before so i guess its a stock feature cause i know on different models and car or trucks that the gas guage stays there and shows how muh gas you have but on my focus and mybe other foci it just goes past E when the cars off

but it didnt do it before just after the indiglos i mean falls like inch down past E. does yours fall that far.

yea it goes past the E on mine i guess its different for different gauges not sure.
