My day at the track
Well I just got back from a day of driving school at Portland International Raceway... and it was badass. Too not much surprise I was the only svtf there, but thats cool. Other cars included, a built to the nuts viper, half a dozen porches, lots of subarus, a couple of corvettes(one of which slammed in the the wall, and was towed back to the pits), panoz, lotus, mazarati, and a few other random cars.
My car is stock, and hit a top speed of 110 in 4th, before I had to slow for the turn. It rained alot the second part of the day and was impressed with how it still gripped the road. Here are a couple of pics. and that honda crx in front of my car in the pic, yea he spun out and threw dirt all over the track, then later on I had to pass him on the straights at 90mph. |

One the back straight , the mazatati came up on me , and i had to wave him around, that thing was
 g fast, some of the others i wasnt running with, we were spilt up according to experience

Those type of events are a blast. Pretty interesting in the rain. Get used to being alone with the svtf. Outside a svtoa event I've always been the only svtf. Like WD stated, it's addicting.

yea its addicting, im gonna do a few mods, and hit another one in a couple of months, one guy did come up to me and said he had an 04 svtf, but said he was a little to nervous to run on the track, what a
