and here are the rules that they follow:

RULES

_________

I am thinkin we can get a group together lets say, at the brandon mall early morning, i believe the first runs start around 9am.

i would recommend purchasing a helmet, they have some there you can borrow... or maybe if our runs are seperated enough we can share a helmet or 2 if not all of us can afford a helmet.

In order to run, you will need to sign up to myautoevents.com and then register through there, IIRC it's only 20$ or $30 and they give you a free lunch while there, and also IIRC its a BBQ lunch, you register online for free and pay when you get there.

Registration is not open yet for this event sinse its still a distance away in time, but i wanted to get started early on this so people can make plans.

thanks and PM me or post here for questions and comments.

BTW, Rob has gone here once already, and did well... i think this will be a good chance for us all to enjoy the focus in its true nature, short courses with lots of turns!

ive got that link for #5 on my desktop, so ill check it as it gets closer and post when registration is open, dont wait to register if you want to go, they fill up everytime, but sometimes they do have no-shows...

its kinda like road racing.

basically they have a huge parking lot, and setup alot of cones to map out a course, and then they let a drive and car go one at a time and record times and mistakes (which will add to your total time) and the fastest drive through the course in each class wins.

it plays more on whom is the better driver, but the focus because of its chassis is very good at it, as well as miatas.
