Well, my turbo money seems to be disapeering. I still plan to go f/i but probably won't be able to until next year. I currently have a cat back and a cai. I was thinking about either getting a header and a tune or picking up an lsd and clutch in anticipation of the turbo. Thoughts?

I go for a tune with those mods already done. If you get the right one you will have unlimited re-tunes to keep making your pony run better each time you add a mod. That could lead to better performance and better fuel economy! That leads to a happier driver.

I've only added a CAI to mine and I might try to get a tune in so I get better Fuel economy, then re-tune as needed going forward.

Just my two centavos! But Im a newbie so I what do I know?

Save for turbo first. Don't get too excited and blow all you money on tiny mods. I would rather throw a set of cams in, then worry about all that other jiberish, or just go turbo.

Header & tune would be a waste if you're doing something else in a year.

LSD & clutch would be useful now, and even better with any future mods.

^exactly. Save your money toward the turbo. It's definitely worth the wait.

i agree, if you are committed to going turbo, the header would have to be sold and the tune would be obsolete...you would still need to pay for turbo tuning, so the money for both of those would be lost (the header would get sold for a loss and you cant really sell the tune)

Thanks for all the replies. I guess I like seeing progress and now it feels like I am going to have to sit on it. Really disappointed. I already have an i/m coming and I guess I'll have to wait to put it on. I think I'll start looking at LSD and clutch. I was gonna use tax return money for the turbo so if I have to wait until next year, what I'm able to spend this year shouldn't effect that much.

The 2010 5 spd is still an MTX75, right?

I would personally do turbo first and wait till you blow your clutch out then do trans work.
