HID Headlamp Kit - Ford Racing

I have a 2002 SVTF with normal headlights and the owner before me must have cracked one of casings and replaced it with a zx3 chrome case.

http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts...tKeyField=7025
My question is: Can I buy this HID's from Ford Racing and install them without too many issues on my SVTF? Also, if anyone has these lights, how are they for driving in the dark?

Thanks!

you can buy them with no problem. They are the machs that were an option on the 2003 and 04 models. they have great light throw and look good to! i dont have them on mine but i have driven in a few foci with them.

Install time? Does it require re-wiring? None of this is a problem, I just want to know what I'm getting into because it's so damn cold here.

Bryant Motorsports on eBay has a few left...

(Wish I could afford 'em.)

You can just order them from any Ford Racing Dealer. A local shop here in Canada said he can get them here in 2 weeks for around $950.

Yeah I agree, which is why I haven't ordered them... But having one chrome headlight surround and one black is disgusting.

I have them and they are the best headlights I've ever had on any vehicle.
