You need to swap all 3 wiring harnesses if you swap to the mtx ecu. a few of the pins in the ecu pinout are different.

quick question. With the Dura's are there extra parts that are need? I know I need a new mounts cause the motor sits a little farther back and higher i believe. But other than that is there anything not in the list you described that you can think off?

Ppl keep saying just get a 5spd car, but why do i want to sell something ive already sold my soul too haha...

Wonder if there are any shops in the west half of the US that would put together a kit and do this for me. Would love to have a MTX, but I would rather just drop it off and pick it up working perfect. <-- lazy and a bit of distaste for working on cars after growing up being a professional light holder. heh. I don't mind paying a premium just to not have to deal with stuff like this. More basic stuff I don't mind doing.

I don't know how active this topic still is, however I decided to write a slightly more accurate and in depth guide for this. It's still not complete, but it's what I could remember off the top of my head right now, added to the original procedure outlined in the first post. If anyone sees any inaccuracies please feel free to log in and edit it. I still gotta put the electrical things on there too.
