FWIW I was reading over on the "other" site and Massive said they had issues with breaking axles in some of their cars.. and they figured out it was due to wheel hop when coming off the line and they put a set of traction bars on the Focus and it seems to have cured the issue...........

Wheel hop is a sign of either poor driving skill or lack of proper parts to prevent it.

I have suspension done, i have an LSD, and it's not due to lack of driving skill (thanks) so this is the last thing to try.

I wasn't taking a stab at you personally man. I was just stating that USUALLY, those are the major two causes of wheel-hop. Personally, I've never had the problem. But I'm an artist when it comes to clutch-slip and launching. (slight horn toot there)

www.a1cvtech.com Guys are up in quabec, If they can make axles to help handle my 352WHP Escort zx2, im sure they can do Ford Focus, tell them I sent you.

yeah i broke my axle a few weeks ago at the track on street tires launching at 3000 rpms.. just dropped the clutch and it snapped
