More BROKEN Axles...

lol well with my most recent setup (before changing tranny) i ran a 9.3 1/8th at 250+whp 245wtq.. course that was with a 2.59 60' too..

ive been able to get almost a 2 sec flat 60ft time on street tires. not DOT radials. just your standard coopers on 18x7.5. if you spin lots coming off the line you need to work more on slipping the clutch on takeoff. not particularly good for it to be slipped at high rpms but it gets you moving in a hurry. im trying to find my fastest 60ft ticket but if memory serves i think it was like 2.07 or something like that. only thing i had changed since that last time i took it to the strip was that i changed the place i fill my bottle at and got a tosen LSD all 3 vf motor mounts and a fidanza flywheel. fastest 60ft before that is in my sig

i got a 2.146 60' before i installed my clutch/flywheel/diff/boost controller/falken fk452s

So does the FS lower stress bar actually help? There are a lot conflicting sides. People saying it does, people saying it don't. So whats the verdict?

in the long and short of it............... where can we get billet shafts to handle the power?

The long and short of it is , dont act like an idiot at the drag strip and you wont break axles ,

Many of the fastest running Foci on here have NEVER broke an axle , only the ones tring to run killer 60 foot (dont know why) are breaking them from taking RPM high and sliding there foot off the clutch shocking the system and killing parts , so make the axles stronger and kill the trans housing next , so then what a 15,000.00 Quaife trans then rip the bolts out of the K-member

also if you guys pre set the axles and trans by launching with the ebrake it helps :)
