my local guy wants $60/hr for cam install (about 3 hours) and $115/hr for dyno tune (about 30 minutes)....times estimated by "local guy"...so I guess I'm looking at a little under $300 hopefully I can get them a little closer to $200 and still have it done right....we'll see
I figure by talking to you (Mo) for the last few months that you could do the cam install about the same as me (pretty sure I have the tools and enginuity), but is it safe to drive the car to a place to have it dyno tuned after the install? I don't have a dyno close to my garage...I'll probably have this guy install mine anyways because what would take him 3 hrs would probably take me 6...lol...and I'm gonna be anxious to drive since I'll be holding my cams for almost 2 weeks in the box!! It would be cool to say I installed myself, but then I'd have to buy a piece of chalk!!
