Dude, thats what keeps me from buying things online alto. I am afraid I will lose my money! People like this need some crap to happen to them! Just so it opens their eyes even if it is just a bit!

:Lol random thought:

What if he was arrested? Maybe that was why, some random arrest... ya know?

mazda6club.com does the same thing. They are extremely anal about it too, and for a good reason it seems.....

SCAMMERS!!!

http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/s...=153160&page=2

I recommend the following for future sales on FF:

People must have some buyer and seller protection.

Sellers must provide FF with correct phone, address, and contact info.

Buyer must be able to verfiy that this info is correct. FF should work out a deal so things are on a auction protection system, were sales can be protected. This is just bad for all of us.
First, its a public forum and mod/admin are not paid to do what they do. your asking that they police what is going on with deals now which would mean extra time and such for them (we, like you, work and have a life also).
there have been 3 cases i know of (2 that are going now) of scamming. the bst area is put here as a courtesy to the members, it doesnt have to be provided at all.
The last thing is, people need to read the rules before buying or selling (simple concept that doen't seem to happen) and read that they plainly state what goes on in bst, ff has nothing to do with, its between buyer and seller.

if you dont trust a deal but just have to have an item use an escrow service. your money is verified to the seller to be available but is not released to them until the item is verified to have been recieved by you.

Do you have any escrow service websites or info as to where we could find one? This may be helpful for others in the future.

So they can hack his gibson!

No really though. Nobody here is going to have enough access to find out his address according to his IP address. You can easily find the node he's on but that could be miles from his house. The guy is a cop though he's already got this guys address so there's no need for all that.

please read up on how the escrow works. it does cost 25.00 for a 750.00 purchase, but the piece of mind is most likely worth it.

I say use ebay if your worried about, that way it is protected under buyer seller protection agreement from ebay and paypal.
