engine transmission swap

I currently have a 2000 automatic zx3. Im planning on buying a 2002 svt motor and transmission and a ecu out of a 2001. Does any one know how hard it would be to swap my stock 2.0 for the svt motor?

not really hard at all, the motor should fit right in... the hardest part would be the ecu and wiring harnesses. the job should be not a problem if you have everything that you need and the correct tools to work with. im swapping out my 2.0 in a few weeks for a svt motor and tranny and if going to be a hassle because im not only converting motors but im also converting an atx to a mtx trans. if you already have a 5 spd it should be easier.

I did the swap a while ago. It is a matter of gathering all the parts you need and making sure you rewire your current harness correctly.

what about...

I have an 02 ZX5, 5 speed. How bad would it be to swap and throw the SVT and 6 speed in? Also, any ideas on cost and where to start looking for needed parts... Thanks.
