kms

I previously owned a 2000 Ford Focus ZX3. I bought it used with 48,000km, and in just over 2 years i owned it i had a total of 290,000km with virtually no issues whatsoever (besides normal wear and tear). The car is still being driven around town by an older gentleman with probably over 300,000km by now as that was a few years ago.

I am in the process of purchasing a 2006 Focus ZX4 SE with 142,000km on it and I only hope we can have as much good luck with this Focus as my last one. Although, they do feel like a cheaper car with the newer models. I guess only time will tell.

Hey all, fairly new here. 2000 ZX3 Kona Edition, purchased mid november. The guy I bought it from did regular maintenance (oil change 3-5k miles). Current mileage 143,140 Zetec 2.0 16V. So far, looks like all I need to do is change the serpentine belt (squeals whenever I start up the vehicle the first time). I love this car! It drives great at over 10 years old now.

Talking My cas "new car" ...

HI !

I recently bought a 2002 ZTW Man. 5-speed, and its getting to 121 000 miles (196 000Km)

I bought it 1000$ CAN and put another 1400 $ CAN in it + Winter tires.

I've had it for about 6 weeks now and its running pretty good...
Good starts in cold conditions, althought its not very cold yet here in Quebec...

Its not the fastest car I've had... My 1995 Neon was a bit better ... but it was worn out ! Wonder why ;-)

Anyway ...

Happy Holidays to you all !

S.R.

Now at 178,000 miles. 8K in 3 months.....I gotta get driving more if I want to make my goal. At this rate I would BARELY miss it.

Me too, but it feels a lot better when you put all those miles on yourself.

This was a few months ago. Got 104k on it now.

Was pretty much all routine maintenance until recently, I just had to do some suspension work. Replaced both Struts up front (coils had went so I just did the whole quick strut assembly on both sides), sway bar end links, and the rear shocks.

Other than that she's been rock solid.
