2002 ZX5 4-speed 2.0
146,500 miles
New clutch @ 135k
New front brakes @ 100k
Timing and serp belt soon.
Oil changes around 3-5K
I have a 100 mile round trip drive per day. Since hitting 100k I don't go over 3K rpm's which limit my speed to 70rpm. It's not paid off until Oct and I hope to get 300k.

108k - only belts, oil, filters, brakes, recent a/c recharge, plugs, wire set. Been paid for for several years so it is well worth the trade off for repair cost.

2001 ZX3 S2 120,100. The BEST thing I did was swap the seat bottom from the driver side to the passengers side. The bottoms are the same, there are 4 10MM bolts that hold the cushion to the frames. You can swap them from side to side. The side bolster on the seat bottom broke on my drivers seat, I hardly ever have a passenger in my car (we take my wife's truck everywhere) I swapped the two and it's like a new car, the seat has more support and is comfortable again. Best mod I've ever done (and cheapest too)

I was on here surfing for ignition troubles and saw this thread...finally, something I'm good at. I've had my 2000 ZX3 since new and I'm running 256,000+ miles on it! I can't believe this thing has held up so well. I don't take it easy on it, but its been awhile since I've really revved it high or checked the speed limiter.

I'm on the stock clutch. I've changed the timing belt once (really need to do it again). I replaced the thermostat housing, the alternator, pass. side front wheel bearing (PITA), the pass. side inner tie rod end (PITA), the rear bearings (with new drums), the brakes a whole bunch of times, the valve cover gasket twice, and all of the engine/tranny mounts. I also had the driver's seat bolster break on me. I welded it back on and had a friend add some extra foam around it.

Currently, I need a new PS pump, a new timing belt, a new ignition cylinder, engine mounts again (they keep breaking for some reason), and probably that relay for the A/C fan. I'm sure a new clutch wouldn't hurt. My passenger side window and door lock work kind of slowly, but they do work.

Today was the second time my car has failed me. The first was the alternator. Today was the ignition switch. Its getting quite tired and old, but I can't decide if I should rebuild or buy something else.

Looks like I'm going to have everyone beat so what prize do I win. My 01 focus has 302k miles on it. The sad part is it is currently in the shop because it finally dropped a valve and trashed the head. I'm having the shop replace all the pistons, rods, bearings, rings, timing belt, water pump, starter, and redoing the head. I hope to have it back by the end of the week and I plan on hitting 500k miles since I'm basicly going to have a new motor.

Pretty good FreightTrain, you the original owner??

My 01 ZX3 has a little over 110k miles. Just replaced the timing belt, serp belt, and did a tune up. Gets 35 MPG (driven hard).
