Update
2003 Zx3 ATX 2.0 dohc
119,690 miles
i replaced alternator and battery at 117,xxx miles
im due for new springs and struts in the front its creaking bad
now my cooling fans are dead at 118,xxx miles finding melted relays burnt out and corroded fan shroud resistor in process of replacing all next to that regular oil changes as well as seafoam and fuel filter every 3 oil changes its still running like a champ

03 zx3, had em since 35k now he has 107k and still runnin good. Had to replace the battery, fuel pump, clutch, master cylinder, front right spindel, all stocks, and have a lot of after market parts.

Update 120,015 its gonna be ok lol tax return feb 12th im replacing passenger/driver motor mounts with OEM and dogbone with polyurethane, timing belt and theres not much else i can think of engine wise wise of so the rest of the money will go to window tint, replacing driver side manual window regulator, and RIMS!, adn ill shop around for a red svt rear bumper and a front lip if i find a good deal for my zx3 thats served me so well thus far

111,000 miles on 2000 wagon, First wagons came off the line around Jan. 2000 mine was one of first to be produced at Ford Wayne, Mi. Leaking oil out od oil cap , O-Ring was broken, fixed yesterday. . Wagon would stall & ford engineers didn't find the trouble until 2003. they found when the gas tank was 1/4 full & you made a right turn it would shut down. Runs better than my 2008 Escape.

New front struts @ about 65,000. Loose steering gear & 85k I didn't want to drive it to Las Vegas @ 111,000 until the reading all the threads. Thanks Focus Fanatics you helped me out. I will never sell it!!

2000 Ford Focus Defect Summary:
ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, CONTAMINATION OF THE FILTER IN THE FUEL DELIVERY MODULE (FDM) CAN REDUCE, AND EVENTUALLY BLOCK, THE FLOW OF FUEL TO THE ENGINE.


Defect Consequence:
THIS MAY CAUSE ENGINE HESITATION, LOSS OF POWER, SURGING, AND OTHER SIMILAR SYMPTOMS. OVER TIME, THE FILTER MAY BECOME SUFFICIENTLY BLOCKED TO CAUSE THE ENGINE TO STALL, WHICH COULD RESULT IN A CRASH.


Remedy:
THIS ACTION IS DEEMED A SAFETY IMPROVEMENT CAMPAIGN AND IS NOT BEING CONDUCTED UNDER THE SAFETY ACT. ALL OWNERS WILL BE NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM, AND DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE FDM WITH A NEW DESIGN AT NO CHARGE IF THE OWNER REPORTS THAT THE VEHICLE EXHIBITS ANY OF THE IDENTIFIED SYMPTOMS. THE FREE REPLACEMENT WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR A PERIOD OF 10 YEARS FOLLOWING THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE OF THE VEHICLE, WITH NO MILEAGE LIMIT. OWNER NOTIFICATION IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING NOVEMBER 2003. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT FORD AT 1-800-392-3673.

Burned no oil with 5k Oil changes and consistant 32 MPG

Replaced.

Radiator Fan
Radiator Fan Shroud Thermresistor
Starter
Battery
EGR Vaccume Solenoid
DPFE Sensor
PCV Hose on back of engine
3x Brake pads and 1 set of Rotars
Serpentine Belt Tentioner
Spark Plugs
Passanger side Motor Mount
T-Stat Housing

And at 120k Water pump, Timing belt and Tensioners.

Things needing to be done when it was totalled.

Strut's and Strut Tower.
T-Stat Housing again
Valve Cover Gasket
