394 500kms, which is about 245k miles, on a 2001 ZX3.

Bought it new in January of 2002 and put 2500-3000kms/week on it, usually loaded to the gunwales with freight, often in excess of 700lbs. You wouldn't believe how much crap you can stuff in one of these puppies!

I have replaced the manual transmission (suspected synchro problems), but have had no engine problems. Replaced a whole bunch of other stuff, but mostly related to normal wear and tear. Can't really blame Ford if I open and close the hatch 50 times a day until finally the wiring harness gives out 5 years later.

I used to think Toyota was the only way to go, but I have to say the Focus has really impressed me. At least until they stopped making the hatchback--dumbest marketing decision ever.

Next year it will turn into my new racecar for a paved 3/8ths mile oval.

112K+ from new. 2000 station wagon. Love my focus but have noticed that latley it idles kind of loud. Is this something anyone else has experienced and if so is a fix or is it just old age?

Passed the 100k mark on Sunday. 4 years and 2 months since new. Perforated poop! That's over 25k/year.
The first 100k was painless. I think that I'll reward my lil' car's progress with some more mods.
Upgrade to leather power seats???
A new head, two more 10"s, and another amp???
Urethane bushing kit???
Perimeter, glass, and entry alarm???

Four more years to 200k. Four more mods. Sounds like a plan.

I have had to replace the fuel pump at 35,000 miles. No problems with it since. I had to replace the master slave and a caliper driver side. I don’t know what happened to it but it started to seize up on me and burn up my rotor. other than that no problems. She is about to go under the knife again to replace the egr , change coil plugs and wires back to stock. And I will have the radiator fluid flushed with in the next week or so.

113,000 miles.
