2002 ZTS. 189,000 plus miles. Complete brake job 3 times. Front struts, timing belt kit at 175,000. Alternator replaced for giggles. Wheel bearings just replaced cause I ran out of volume on my radio. Stabilizer struts, coil pack, spark plugs and wires 6-7 times, tie rod ends twice, thermostat housing replaced twice, still on the original clutch but getting near it's end. I love this parts runner so much that I'm ordering a 14 just the way I want it. Love to shift dem gears. Motorcraft semi oil and Wix filter changed every 3500 miles, oil pan glued back on for leaks . Probably more but out of memory. cb@64yrs.oe.

230000 that's right 2 hundred thirty

Wife bought new in 2001, SE with Zetec, Crap electric window regulators etc. replaced numerous times TILL after she gave it to me, then I screwed a 2x4 inside door where window would stay in place.
While wife had it till 90000 she had dealer do all stuff, oil every 3000 to 5000, timing belt replaced once, one water pump, 2 rear wheel bearings, wires once, brakes, A/T fluid NEVER changed, alternator just went out this week, replaced it & belt, something in front suspension has been popping / rattling for over 100000 miles can't figure out what it is. VERY SATISFIED thus wife bought 2012 focus Tit

Rattling

Try replacing your sway bar struts. They'll drive you to over drinking! Or could be a broken spring or top bearing. Pretty common on the early ones. I replaced 5 springs on my 2002 ZTS. Good luck and focus!

2010 Focus SES Blue Flame Metallic, totally stock, 2nd owner. I just turned over 138,500 miles, just OCD to the manual on everything. No major repairs, but motor mounts are needing replacement now, starting to get vibrating noises.

Just hit 200,000 about a week ago, only major repair was a timing belt! It needs some brake/suspension love but otherwise, extremely fun and reliable!!
