1.6 Zetec petrol hatch 1998

1998 110,000k miles from new single owner....(me)

nothing much since around 45,000k when the alternator shorted out....(think it got wet)

Just had MOT this week, front subframe now corroded through...

Other than that just the rear washer jet hasn't worked for a while...

New subframe on the way & some heavy mileage coming up.....

2006 focus zx3 s, 5 speed. bought it Mar 03, 10, with 48,900 miles on it, it now has 101,100 miles as of June 10, 11. very few problems, tires have come and gone, on my second set. alternator went at 90,000 miles, still on original clutch though the throw out bearing has been making a noise since i have had it, oil changes full synthetic every 6,000 miles already had the tranny fluid changed, added electric windows and locks engine is still stock for now...

Silver bullet, domino's guy...

2003 Focus SE sedan, 5 speed manual with the 2.0 Zetec. Just passed 145k miles. My mom bought it with 13,000 and used it til about 110k. We've had no problems with it what so ever, besides me needing a new set of tires after my first year of having it. Still on the stock clutch, however it is getting a bit worn and doesn't engage like it should.

Not sure if I posted in this thread yet but I'm at 115k and change now, and I've been boosted for over half of that. Critical things just started breaking this year (clutch, head gasket) but I am coping with that by replacing them with better parts! And to be fair, I seriously neglected the whip for most of 2010, so I totally deserve the problems that have arisen. I bought the car 4 years ago and it's probably my favorite thing that I own.

Bought my SVT with 78k on it. Now at 103,000 with no real issues. Just replaced all 4 dampers (so cheap for SVT dampers!) and the timing belt a while back. Good stuff.

113,500 miles... blue zx3 zetec 2.0 2003
got it at 110,000 for $1,200

came with screamin demon distributer and some big thick insulated plugwires
came with illegal window tint, windows are mirrors

pcv hose was collapsed,
tensioner accessory pulley bearing was no good,
alternator was malfunctioning,
instrument cluster was shorting,
egr was malfunctioning so i did dpfe/egr delete (better without it anyway)

pcv hose =$7 fuel hoses
tensioner pulley = $20
alternator = $120
instrument cluster = free
tires = $400
fuel filter = $10
registration = $80
new battery = $80

installed intake from my other car free,
dpfe delete,
resonator tip free,
painted nose (hood, fenders, bumper)black i detailed it like the grills etc all blue
painted interior stuffs all blue
new platinum plugs free,

bought and installed new kenwood deck, rockford amp and rockford punch p2 in big custom box $350

Edit: most recent:
-thermostat housing was leaking bigtime. took it off and apart, only to realize it has been running with no thermostat!
...so i put new gasket maker also on the block, flipped the O-ring around, and we're back in action.

-since everything else seems to be in tact at the moment, i did the door trims with a nice blue patterned material to match all the interior paint and outside most of the car
