![]() This was a few months ago. Got 104k on it now. Was pretty much all routine maintenance until recently, I just had to do some suspension work. Replaced both Struts up front (coils had went so I just did the whole quick strut assembly on both sides), sway bar end links, and the rear shocks. Other than that she's been rock solid.

131,500 on a 2002 Svt. The only thing that has been replaced on it is the rack & pinion and the two pressure lines that go along with that. New rotors and pads are getting put on next spring but other than that shes runnin like a champ.

mileage is not a problem...
Purchased my 2000 ZTS, 5sp. with 164K last Sept. Used mostly as a commuter car by previous owner since 2002. Being the third owner since new I've only replaced a rear wheel cylinder, left front brake caliper and front pads. Currently it has nearly 168K and is developing a small leak around the thermostat. Which by the discussions is a common problem amoung the Focus family. Although my first ZTS, this is my second Focus. The first one went over 245K after a new clutch at about 205k. I like my Focus a lot.

118,000 The majority of the miles were while I was at Penn State and i'm sure they were tough on her. Still get 34-36 mpg on the highway though. It's nickel and dimed me here and there but nothing major has gone wrong. I had to have the wheel bearings replaced but that was way back when it was still under warranty. oh and the alternator went a few years ago. |
