LOL I know they aren't much but now I'm scared that the originals may be fused into the head since they have never been done! Seriously I hope they put anti-seize on them at the factory.....

That sounds like a plan. The only other thing that I worry about (I am a worry wart) is getting dirt into the cylinders, guess I gotta blow off any dirt, etc, and clean the valve cover real good before attempting the plug change.

I had bought some BOSCH plugs but then I read through the forums that they basically suck so I threw them out, so I still need to buy the right ones yet.

I was just going to mention (I have 191,000 miles right now) , what I try to do is even when little things break/go bad, I try to fix it ASAP, because IMO it's those little things that add up over time until they drive you crazy, so get them fixed before they start to add up, it's worth it and keeps you sane

Some of the other little things I had:

1. Still having the hood latch freeze up in cold weather. Got to oil it better yet
2. The back of the driver seat broke. I finally took it apart and welded it
3. The fan speed switch stopped working, it was stuck. got a new one from a salvage yard.
4. right side speakers stopped working. I ran new wires now they work again.
5. heater blower motor (for interior air) finally died, brushes were all used up. got another from ebay works good now.
6. heat shield above muffler broke off, I wired it back into position and used steel epoxy to hold it. Excellent again.

Right now a couple of problems I have yet to fix:

1. Turn signal stopped self-canceling.
2. another coolant leak somewhere. Maybe a hose or the t-stat housing this time.
3. belt or something is squeaking all the time. I think it's the idler pulley but I'm not sure.

I have rust on the bottom of the drivers side door because the drain holes got plugged up. I also have a small rust spot on the rear hatch just below the center of the window. I've fixed it but it keeps coming back, I need to learn how to fix it right lol!

So far just changed the torque mount, and the left wheel bearing.
Now I need to change the front shocks so I'm looking into buying the whole suspension set up. In the process of changing fuel filter.

2001 Focus ZTS.
2.0 Zetec.
110,000 miles...
Survived several accidents. Exterior looks bad but still drives well.
No one's gonna ever buy this car so I'm keeping it 'til it stops running...
