Lots of great information in this thread! Boggart also makes great lightweight track only wheels to help with weight reduction. I do beleive my 13x8 flystar wheels are 7lbs per wheel. Add a set of Bias Ply Street Slicks or slicks and you have a very light combination. My 205/60R13(~23"X~8") M&H Street Slicks Only weigh 15lbs. Even the 15x8 models don't weigh that much more.

For most street cars that run at the track, I usually tell them to gut the trunk completely down to the bare metal and use the smallest diameter wheel combination they own if they don't have dedicated tire/wheel combo.

Time in sig. Mods:
AEM CAI, 65MM TB, coil, wires, .064 gap plugs, chip, race-header, no cat, borla 2.5in cat-back, Eibach Sportline Plus kit, front and rear braces, vf lower mount, BFG KDW2, rear seat and spare removed, 1/4 tank of gas.

so i went to the track last week with a cone filter and a cfm tb 67mm, i going down the track look to the left an seen a chihuahua in the other lane running beside me laughing, i ran a 16.760 @ 81.53, yesterday i took the cone off and put back the stock air filter and it seems to run faster so im going back to the track friday night i will keep everyone updated with my slow ride, for anyone thinking to put a cone and tb on instead of spending the money.

As stated in the other thread, look more to 60' times. They have a decent affect on the trap time.
By your speeds I'd say none of the changes made any power difference. It's all in your launch/60'.

wow from page 5-8 got way out of hand with an immense amount of questions lol i dont have a 1/4 mile run but i do have a video from a slow start getting up to speed on a back road with the camera pointed at the speed/tach/ and mileage...im wondering if i went a 1/4 of mile, can anyone tell me and from there i can guestimate how fast and what time i could now get with better mods?

from what it looks like i started out at 345.2 and ended at 345.6 when i let off the gas, im not sure if thats a quarter or not
also i hit 90mph there as well
the only mods i had there were I/H/E and TB w/ stock wheels

Based on what you've said, based on what my car runs, and based on your video, I'm guessing you'll run somewhere in the low 16s.
