is it the power steering?

hey 4 some reason, when i turn my steering wheel all the way it makes the car go at a very low rpm (like from 950 rpm to 700 rpm ina second) then back 2 normal. last week, it made go so low, it shut off my engine while i was tryin 2 reverse. my friend said it could be a vaccum line 2 the power steering. is there a vaccum line 2 the power steering and what can the problem be?

It's rather normal for the RPM to drop, and you aren't suppose to do it. This is from your Owner's Manual:

"To prevent damage to the power steering system:

• Never hold the steering wheel at its furthest turning points (until it
stops) for more than a few seconds when the engine is running."

It is not normal for the engine to stall, but frankly I myself would just stop doing it as it is hard on the power steering. When you hit the furthest turning point, back off a little bit so you aren't popping the pressure relief valves.

agree with Penguin, if your cranking it all the way it will make a rucus and it could cause it to stall if your idle is low.
