How do you find this rear sway bar. I plan on running H&R 25mm front, 28mm rear and stock svt for the rest of the suspension. I am an underpowered FSP.

Please do not use that RSB with soft springs. See this thread:
http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/s...=steeda&page=2 ...specifically my posts in it.

Anything north of 24mm would be a bad idea, IMO.

I'm going to agree with Auto-X-ZTS on this. A big rear sway bar with soft springs is not a setup you want to run on a race track or a highway IMO. This setup is just begging to snap oversteer. What may work well for autocross may bite you on the track (or highway).

A 24mm is the largest RSB I would consider putting on a Focus and only with at least a 22mm front bar and stiffer springs.

I don't auto x....BUT I DO run the backroads VERY aggressively.

I have H&R Sports with KYB AGX. I love it. I do wsh it was a little lower, but the handling is awesome...stock sway bars as well. Remove the rear seats and the car rotates quite nicely, like going with a slightly larger rear sway bar. I can really feel the road with that setup.

just my .02

Auto-x zts...
I am having a lot of trouble getting my SVT to throttle off oversteer
in the corners. I can pull within 1 second of the Honda times but that is it.
Even with the extreme agressive setup I have, I still cannot get the back
to come around on command. Any ideas???

We'll see what Erik has to say, but could it be that you're braking too much and scrubbing off the momentum that is needed to bring the rear end around?

Just a thought...

I currently have the 28.?mm rear sway
stock 21 front sway
eibach 550# all around
all bushings are poly, including the engine mounts
I have run KYB Agx's for several years and now have
the koni yellows. as far as shocks go they seem the same to me.
I am running the Falkens because bridgerock doesn't make a good
size for this car and I am running 16x7's (helps with the crappy gearing)

bunch of other stuff... doing some legal lightening and taking lots
of autocross schools.

_PA

...by saying you have Eibach 550 pounders all around, I take that you have GC coilovers on the Konis...is that accurate?

What is your alignment like camber-wise...especially in back?

You have the opposite problem that I have. My ZX2 is like-driving-on-ice loose.

I was about 2.5 seconds off of the 2007 STS National champ this past weekend on a 60 second course...and Jason missed overall PAX by .007, so he's dialed in right off the bat.

Hey Erik - Looking at the info above, what do you think of this for a combined track/AX setup:

450lb fronts, -2.5 to -3.5 camber - 1/16-1/8in toe out 22mm swaybar
450lb (track) 650lb (AX) rear - -2deg camber 0 toe, 28.6 adj swaybar

Struts/shocks custom valved for the above rates, with rear adjustment to match the lowest/highest spring rates.
