K&N air filter cleaning

Okay, I bought the filter cleaning kit, and added it to my list of things to do for when the weather turns nice. How much time does it generally take for the filter to dry after being cleaned and rinsed with water?
Since I only have the one car I need to make sure I don't need to drive it until I get the filter back on...

well shake it a bit lol. I shake mine out a bit then set it on one side (small side standing up, not the face) for awhile then tap some more water out then flip it over and repeat. Yeah after I said 20-30 I started thinking I usally do take about an hour to do mine. just make sure your not gonna be in a rush or need your car right away

Another thing to do that I found works is to suck it "dry" with a shop vac. I did that and it gets it to the point where it will dry within 20-30 minutes. when I let it just sit after washing it, it usually takes me about an hour or more. Of course I live in a very humid climate.

Wash it in the evening, oil it the next day. That is what I do... You want it to be dry before oiling.
