Altezza euro tail lights need to be rewired for SVT use?

Hi all,

I have a new 2004 ZX3 SVT and i was looking at getting some altezza tail lights for it. I see on the website, though, that they cannot be used with SVT models without some wiring mods. Does anyone know anything about this?

http://www.matrixracing.com/BI7255Details.htm

I can't imagine that tail light wiring should be that difficult, but I don't want to dive in all on my own. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

-Amanda

Did you ever get these to work with your SVT?

I bought some TYC tail lights last year when I had my '03 SVT and on the box it said "will not fit SVT", but I still bought them anyways thinking I was smarter than TYC.

Well I wasn't.
They fit, but WEREN'T plug and play on the SVT. I would've had to splice the wires since one of the harnesses was different.
I ended up just saying screw it and sold them to someone else.

mine were plug and play, was a little tired so what i ment was that my lights came with two different sets of plug and play wires, all i had to do was use the correct one that matched my wiring harness. i bought mine from www.enormisstore.com ask for mike
