how about an audi?
those are smaller cars with AWD. my TT is roughly the same size as a focus, and runs a 4cylinder engine. i've seen whole cars going for around $3000. but thats just my opinion. and im in ohio. and hopefully i'll be getting a second car soon, so you could always take a look at my suspension...

I suspect it will be at least another year until someone actually begins to attemp the job. I am more than willing, but will have my degree finished for christmas and then its time to pay off all my credit cards and save for a house. If Im financially in the postion to pick up a donor car jag x-type and begin the actual build, I will start a whole new thread on the build. but that wont be until AT LEAST next winter.

Its actually being done right now by a guy in Maryland....but he's doing a noth/south configuration with a IRS set-up.......

Chances are he is using drivetrain from an escort cosworth or a saphire sourced from canada. ( I looked into this option as well, but is more expensive than retaining the exisitng engine mounts and just using jag parts.....both systems are equally hard to locate)
