ya...its not that hard man...

take out the bottom plug. drain it. fill thru top plug...

at least on SVT...i think zx3 is the same.

ok cool, but my big book of fixing focuses (thats what i call it lol) said it was a nut with a hex shape that needed a big ass allen wrench. what size did you use? and where the hell is the re fill plug (i dont have any pics to go off of so any would help ass tons. at least the fill up one, i can find the drain no prob.)

I might add, take out the top plug first, as:

1) It will drain better/smoother, and

2) You want to have a full transmission if you discover you cannot remove the top fill plug for some reason or another.

Top plug is on the front side of the tranny...it is just a flush seated black plug...about a 10-12mm allen wrench and the lower drain plug is next to the dogbone engine mount and faces the passenger side of the car. Get a light and you will see it.

2 qts will take care of it. Calls for 2.1 but no worries about the .1

Its not a 10-12mm allen, its an 8mm or maybe even 7mm. And those sizes come in most allen socket sets. Very quick and easy to do, so doing it every 30-40k miles should not be a big deal.
