Kevin, I have two older tires I can give you. They are still in really good shape and were used mainly in the back. I ended up getting all four new tires and now have them in my garage.

Hey you guys know of a good place to have front axles installed for a decent price around the valley? I have my new axles but I lack many of the tools to do it. Plus I don't have the time because I want to get it done before the run on Sat.

You mean the half shafts? From what I know, they aren't too bad of an install. What happend to your stock ones? Blow em out under all that Supercharged power ?

Yeah my bad....halfshafts. Well the CV boots are bad on both sides and black gooey shit keeps getting all over my chromies :). Plus there's been a bit of clunking going on down there. From what I've read it's better to just change out the whole halfshaft rather than just the cv boots...especially if they're clunking.

If you are refering to the Tortilla flats run, you won't need a radar detector....because of course, you won't be driving like an idiot right?

As far as rocks and stuff goes, as of this afternoon the pavement was pretty clean and clear, though a rock slide between now and then could be possible, but I'm sure they clean that stuff up right away.

For the record. I will be bringing a passenger. we will be filming. We WILL be passing the pack to get ahead for photos/vid. I will be running nitrous so the pass itself shouldn't be hard. We will have to discuss where on the route is the best place and come up with some signals ahead of time to keep everyone safe. The last vid came out great however there are a few types of shots I want that no one got last time. One of my cameras is only 4" high and I would like to get the cars driving at-over-away from the camera. Or at least a stationary on the road somewhere for a drive by from the pack. I'll get out on the road and hope no one hits me, but you'll need to get really close. Like a foot or two max
