SVT Swap....Possible or Not?

Alright guys i have a few questions i need answered. First of all i drive a 2.0 Zetec ATX Focus Se. Now here is my first question. Would it be at all possible to swap into my car the SVT engine and then equip my car with the SVT 6 speed manual transmission? If so what kind of things would i need to do and such. As most of you are going to say why not just buy a SVT. Well for the simple fact that i don't want to be just one of the crowd. I think a four complete svt swap INCLUDING the engine ands tranny would be not only unique but also pretty intresting. Thanks for everything beforehand.

Very possible.. besthaticouldo already did both... He started out doing the Tranny swap then Blow his motor and throw in the svt motor.. It requires just about everything under the hood of an svt

Very possible...its been done a few times.

You'll need a LOT of parts;

Engine
Transmission
SVT ECU and complete wiring harness
SVT shifter and cables
SVT passenger side mount
SVT halfshafts
SVT/04 fuel pump (not sure if this is necessary...the SVT does pull slightly more fuel than a normal Zetec.)

Optionally, you may want the SVT gauge cluster.

Its a lot of work, the biggest pain is going to be changing the wiring harness...the last guy who posted up about it ended up pulling the entire dash shell out to get at it.

Ok that exactly what i was wanting to know. Because the focus is going under a big project mode right now. As it will be getting the front grill,front bumper, side rockers, wings west avenger back bumper, mach 1 front lip, mach HIDS from SVT, svt interior swap, looking at either SVT wheels or RS cant decide. So pretty much everything that will transfer over from the svt will going into this. But thank you very much for replying and not telling me how dumb an idea it is. Appreciate it man

Oh ok yeah i was imagining i would need to do quite a bit work for this. Do you know by any chance how hard the pedal swap for the car would be though. As i know putting in the 6 speed its going to gain a new set of pedals. thanks for everything else though man because this is going to be the next big job i do. Also how hard would it be to fabe something for the middle console to put in the 6 speed shifter?

Forgot about that...

He'll actually need the entire clutch/brake pedal assembly out of a MTX Focus. Might need a new brake master cylinder as well...can't recall if there's a difference or not
