power window problems

ok well i took apart the door today.. and found some messed up shit.


well the runner seems to be working fine.. its the window holders (the most outside one) that broke off the black rail that goes up and down. also the wire thing is all messed up in the reel for it.


what should i do? bring it in the ford and pay for them to have it fixed.. (warrenty is up) or what?

also ford did replace the window runner once about 1 year ago or more..

any ideas? should i go to a junk yard and pick up the crap on someone else's power windows?

Hello All,

I'm new to this group although I've been stalking and getting useful info since I bought my car in February. I have a 2012 Focus Titanium. I noticed a strange problem today where the controls on the driver door for windows, mirror et.al. are blinking. Once every 3 seconds. When switches are illuminated, all works fine. When they are not illuminated, the driver side window doesn't work but all other window switches do. The power mirror adjust only works when illuminated. Help.
