opinions on 205/50/16 tire..??

im looking for a better tire in 205/50/16. The tires that came on the car when i bought it are VISA (i guess they're a division of Falken) but they suck. Anyone have any opinions on some good tires?

Thanks
Bryan

Summer Tires:

Money is No Object - Goodyear F1 GS-D3 (German) at tirerack for $123.00

Best Bang for the Buck - Yokohama ES100 at tirerack for $80.00

Get a set of Steelies and Nokian tires for winter.

If you insist on All-Seasons:

Best Bang for the Buck - Falken Ziex 512 for $70.00 from vulcantire

Visa's are made by Cooper tires and they're one of the cheapest tires out there. Pirelli's and Yokohama's are very good tires. Pirelli tires usually don't last that long, but they ride good and handle great. Michelin's are good, but they don't last either and you pay a fortune for them!

01FocusZX3, You're correct the Visa tires are a division of Falken. In order of price (low to high) the following show up on most people's tire lists. You can't go wrong with any of them.
Kumho 711, Falken 512, Yoko ES100, Pirelli P Zero, BF Goodrich Traction T/A and Goodyear Eagle F1GSD3. If you do not have a set a snow tires I would recommend a good all high performance all season tire. Of the above bunch the BF Goodrich would be the one with the best balance of all season high performance for the rain, sleet or shine. If you have snow tires than a summer option is the way to go. Just remember summer tires will not last long. Rarely will they go 25 to 30, 000 miles (an thats if you're really lucky and nice to them). The performance of a summer tire changes dramatically as the temperature goes down. The tread gets hard and the tires can become a real handful to handle.

I do not recommend Traction T/A's! They are extremely noisy and rough at highway speeds, replacing them as soon as financially possible!
