Is it flashing repeateadlly or just coming on and off every now and then while driving around.
Usually the only reason the brake light comes is if the e-brake is on or the brake fluid level is low.
Double check the fluid level.
The float in the master cyclinder cap may be bad an sinking down, just thought of that one but that would prob. leave the light on constantly.

Mine did that when my level was low from a leaky master cylinder.

theres usually two things that'll set that light off....the switch on the e-brake handle and the float in the reservoir...

is it flashing at a constant speed always or intermittent?
