Nope,

And I think you just need photo id to get past your security crazed border guards...LoL...J/K No as I understand it's only if you fly into or through US airspace that a passport is req'd at this time...but check with US border service to confirm. And you're not going to let something as simple as a passport to stop you from enjoying Canadian hospitality are you??

Joe,

My suggestion to call your local border svcs office would stand then just to confirm. I know at this point we as Canadians do not need a passport to cross into the US at land crossings. I would believe the same would stand for a US citizen....

I saw on the news not to long ago that stating in 08' that you would need a passport to cross into canada and mexico...but ill verify it just in case.

I don't think CBSA has come down with that, I think the plan was for U.S. citizens they req'd it to get back in. Remember, it's your country that came down with this new security measure not ours. We are friendly that way...LoL. Also, when you get to Canada you are stopped by CBSA agents not U.S. Border types. CBSA=Canadian Border Security Agency.
