svt motor swap?

im looking into converting my 2.0 zetec focus to a svt motor... does anyone know how much work this would take?... and about how much money?... ive been looking online for motors and i havent been able to find much, would anyone have an idea of where i might find svt motors and trans or duratec motors as well?

focus-power.com has full SVT and duratec engines and transmissions. They are probably your best bet.

yes i know how much work it would entail...

what specific answer are you looking for?

took me about 100 hours of labor. cost me about 1200 bux. 800 for motor and tranny (friend deal), fuel pump, some wiring, fluids, etc etc etc.

it will be hard. you need all the wiring from the front of the car...

no dealer in their right mind would give him 8500 for a motor swapped car! hahaha

id offer him 6k and see if he takes it.
