SVT swap
hey guys i was wondering what all i would need to have and do for a SVT swap from my spi and a cost estimate...i am also going to include the 6 speed transmission..also if anyone has a SVT motor for sale please let me know..

I looked into this at one point. Glad I didn't. I owned an SVT and my SPI at the same time and was always more pleased to drive my SPI. Of course, it would be cool to see SVT sedan...

so then...i should just try to build up my spi....maybe...haha like that would help slapping a turbo on it would prolly help a little but that requires rebuilding everything..i dunno what do u guy thinks...btw tczx3...congrats...how much did it run you overall ad how much hassle was it

Well, we haven't put all the numbers on paper yet, and we've done some extra stuff, and I'm anal about the details so.... We've got about $2200 total, without the extras. Hassle wasn't too bad, just took a while to reasearch everything and have all the little pieces together so it didn't turn out to be a two month project. We did it in two weeks and more than half of that was waiting on parts that we missed in the three months of research. VERY happy with the results! We're working on a How-To post that I hope to have up soon!

sounds great....u must of got a deal on the engine and tranny then...the ones i have found have been around 2400 with the 6 speed tranny...bu yeh only SVT wagon would be pretty sweet
