I use 308 mild steel, it will have alittle surface rust but thats about it.

Do you need to sand pack mild steel in order to bend it, or will it just bend like annealed 4140?
What thickness downpipe and manifold should you use? mig or tig weld?

My manifold is real thick... its actual PIPE instead of exhaust pipe.. I'll get a pic of it tomorrow to show you... you just wont believe how thick the walls are. I cant see any difference in welding... TIG looks best but MIG is just as strong.

There's nothing biased, I've only started what everyone knows... theres a dozen fellow fanatics on here that have went from SuperCharger to Turbo and they will tell you the same things.

I'll vouch for that I had the JRSC + Custom pullies, I made 12psi on the JRSC and my turbo is just a WHOLE different animal.

Wow, you already got 2 vouchers that switched from Jackson Racing Super Chargers to turbo. I''ll try to convince my focus clients to forget about Super Charging by pointing out some important parts like, no turbo lag, learn to master pre-loading, they don't put excess stress on the motor, heck I''ll even make more money from them taking their turbos off & on when they have to get their emissions checked. What was I thinking.
