Steeda SRI install

Well I just installed my steeda SRI today and i was wondering if anyone else had any problems with the area being tight in there. the filter and billet tube dont sit tight on the hole in the base of the heatshield and can just move around, is this how it is supposed to be. The picture on the steeda website shows that it sits better.

yeah for some reason my sits crooked to as far as it being able to move that is normal its not going to sit perfectly, try adjusting the rubber coupler in ways to best fit it but as long as the filter doesnt pop off then your good,i had issues with the filter staying on but it does matter which way the maf sensor hole is posistioned, the sensor should sit closer to the rubber coupler and the sensor should be pointing towards the front ,slightly down but mostly level.it has to do with how the air goes over the sensor

mine is real tight and off centered as well. I still don't like the way it sits against the battery cables.

Me too. Mine is also pressing up on the battery cables. It will also rattle on startup, but it does work well.
