how much power will the svt header and a borla cat back give me?

how much more power will a borla cat back give me when combined with a svt header and the svt cat?

what size pipe will i need to us so that the svt cat and flex will fit the borla cat-back?

and about how much should a stock stv cat and flex cost me?

What size is your exhaust?

Mine is 2.5" so I got the 2.5 inch cat, 2.5 inch flex.....you get it right?

As for the SVT cat, get the Random Tech Cat from McNews here:
http://www.mcnewsautomotive.com/Prod...oductid=MA1007 Made for the SVT header on a Zetec ZX3 like what you have.

You can get your flex through trubendz here:
http://www.trubendz.com/home.asp?pro...e=productIndex

As for power I have no idea. My guess would be 10-15 hp????

Anyone else??

what you already have done with your engine? your looking at a 7-10 whp gain. the mods you get the higher the gains when dealing with exhaust.

Do you have an intake? I/H/E usually nets about 10-15 as previously mentioned, but with the restrictive stock intake setup I'd guess something closer to 6-10.

i have not put an intake in yet, though i did make a sort of ram air type of thing that feeds air from the grill directally into the snorkle. i think i will just put a svt snorcal on it. is it really a waszte of money????

Food for thought?

What if you factor in adding a full factory SVT intake/airbox?

actually the throttle body doesnt give you any performance gains, just better throttle responce, but if your gonna go nos,sc or turboed it will help.other then that you wont gain enough to even show on a dyno.and most kits like powerworks comes with a upgrade throttle body anyways.and you will gain something on a full exhaust(header back) but a cat alone wont produce much.youll get more out of a good tune and a cai,,but start somewhere and follow thru,,full exhaust or full intake,,dont just add a part to this and add a part to that,, sit down look at what direction your really going for.street performance, track, daily spirited, drag. research then buy.ive seen a lot of guys just start buying and had bought a lot of stuff they didnt need or couldnt use in the direction they were going.and theres a lot of guys on here can take you in the direction you want with a lot of great info from na to fi .
