Hello I didnt post here right away but hey. My name is Greg, I am currently stationed at Ft. Bliss in El Paso, TX for the Army. I just bought an 08 Coupe it's RED. I am happy that it is base tho. I dont like all those fancy deals in cars nowadays.

Hey guys just joined this very cool site. I'm on my second SVT Focus. My current one is an 03 Yellow with EAP and sunroof.

Thanks. Looks like some really great info. on the site. This time I'm going for more HP. Seems like Tom is the man in that area!

I'm new here and didn't see this thread first. I guess I need my glasses cleaned or the prescription changed.

I found the site through some searches. I test drove a 2010 Focus because of glaring signs at the Ford dealer around the corner. I liked how it drove and had no intention of buying it going in. I was actually surprised at how nice it was. I am getting rid of my temporary Cadillac STS later this year or early next. I need something that gets much better than the 20 mpg I get from the Cadillac. My commute more than doubled and the $12 a day for work is not going to happen. I like the hinted mpg of 2012 Focus. I cannot go smaller than the Focus because my 4yo daughter rides in the back now and then. Her safety is the most important.

Vehicles being considered for no other reason than reading the specs:
2011 Hyundai Sonata
2011 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid
2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid
2012 Ford Focus

Will not buy Toyota, GM, or Chrysler. Will look at Honda, but they are a premium.

I look forward to getting more info on the 2012 Focus, especially price and MPG estimates.
