New Focus
Hello, just replaced my 1994 Geo Prizm after 299,000 miles, I tried to make it to 300k but it died just before. I bought a new 2012 SEL hatchback with 70 miles on it, super nice car.

Hi all! My name is Craig. Just traded in my 2007 Chevy Equinox for a Brand New 2012 Race Red Focus SE Hatchback with the Sport Package. Just came back from Afghanistan and traded the POS Equinox.
 Getting great gas mileage so far (more than twice the gas mileage of the Equinox. LOL!) Lovin it so far, so much that I have put 300 miles on it in the last few days I have owned it. LOL! I plan on hanging around the forums, looks like a great place to exchange knowledge and meet fellow enthusiasts.

Joined after reading MANY posts and getting good info. I'm helping a friend fix her focus. I'm used to F150's and Explorers. Removing a motor mount to replace an alternator??? Not used to that.. Hope to get some insight from seasoned Focus owners...

focus engine and gearbox
Hi all,
I drive a focus estate 1.8 2001 zetec and love the smoothness of the drive, i've been looking for technical information on the net and it brought me here. I'm after building a trike with the engine at the rear using the engine,gearbox and driving gear as it stands in the car  , i will make my own frame and it would be help full if i could get info on changing the gear shift to the front of engine and mounting the suspension fixing the wheels in a strait line.any help appreciated Dave |
